Short Biography

Md. Ashraf Ali is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at Sonargaon University, Bangladesh, with over 15 years of teaching and academic experience in finance and banking. He previously served as Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Assistant Professor, and MBA Program Coordinator at The Millennium University and was an examiner for the Institute of Bankers Bangladesh from 2012 to 2023. He earned both his BBA and MBA in Finance and Banking from the University of Rajshahi. He is currently pursuing a PhD at Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST), where his research focuses on the challenges of capital structure management in pharmaceutical companies listed on the Dhaka Stock Exchange. His research interests include corporate finance, capital structure, banking, financial markets, and investment analysis. In addition to his academic career, Md. Ashraf Ali is an experienced Technical Analyst with more than 15 years of expertise in the stock market. He specializes in technical analysis, portfolio management, investment strategy, and financial market analysis. He also serves as a Business Development Executive at NRBC Bank Securities Ltd. and Shahjalal Islami Bank Securities Ltd.
